MCLEOD GANJ, India, 17 May 2008 — The participants aiming during shooting practice session at Swiss Park, Strawberry Hills, about 10 kilometres from Mcleod Ganj town. The athletes' excitement and enthusiasm for shooting made the chaperones have to work very hard to get them to leave for lunch! The athletes later went to Bhagsu Nath for excursion and swimming. AboutTibetan Olympics 15 to 25 May 2008 The Tibetan Olympics is an initiative to offer a platform for young Tibetans to celebrate the spirit of the World Olympics being held in Beijing in August. The event will be held from 15 to 25 May, in Dharamshala, India, where the Tibetan government-in-exile is based. There will be two championships — Women's and Men's — with each participant taking part in ten different sporting events. The planning of the event started two years back.
